My 2-year-old daughter was coloring the other day with some dot markers and when she switched to purple, she said, \u201cPurple\u2019s turn.\u201d I thought it was funny because she chose purple, purple didn’t decide to go by itself, but it got me thinking. Sometimes it is purple\u2019s turn. We don’t get to choose everything. Sometimes it pours down rain, or there\u2019s a highly contagious virus pandemic, and it\u2019s time to stay home.
