I remember times we would finally settle on where to have dinner after having a pretty lengthy discussion about it and then while we were on our way, my mother would say, \u201cOh, but we have a coupon for this other place and it expires tomorrow,\u201d and we\u2019d all say in unison, \u201cMom!\u201d because our heads tired before hers. I nicknamed her Options Woman, in an endearing way. I envisioned her in my head donning a cape. She helped me become a good chooser, without being too choosy.
