I\u2019m sitting in the dark. My mom called me to recommend a TV show but when she found out my power was out, she didn\u2019t want to talk too long so that she wouldn\u2019t use up my phone battery and as she hung up, she said, \u201cWell, enjoy the dark.\u201d And that\u2019s what I\u2019m doing. Cold showers, lighting my stove with a match, eating perishable food, walking by moonlight, and being grateful that toilets don\u2019t need power. My wife left with the kids to save the ice cream, but I\u2019m enjoying the dark. It\u2019s nice enough that it\u2019s probably worth doing on purpose. Enjoy the dark.
