It’s a little wet. And a little dry.

My 2-year-old saw some water on the sink counter and she said, “It’s a little wet.” And then she said, “And a little dry.” I think most things are like this. Not all one thing or all another. A little bit of both. So the next time you think someone is mean or nice, or that something is useless or useful, try thinking that it’s a little bit of this. And a little bit of that. And that maybe the tides can turn.
